Enjoy the loud moments in life without damage.

Too many people are at risk of noise induced hearing loss. The safe and statutory limit for your ears to be exposed to is 85 decibels. However, at concerts, noise levels of up to 120 dB can be measured. Loud noise can cause a ringing or buzzing in your ears, called tinnitus or worse, permanent hearing loss.

The good news, wearing EarHub music filter earplugs can reduce noise by 23dB while retaining sound quality.

How to clean your earplugs / How to maintain your earplugs

Cleaning your ear plugs

Before cleaning you must remove the filter. Gently squeeze the earplug just below the filter unit it pops out of the earplug.

Always make sure your EarHub earplugs are clean by using warm, soapy water, then rinse and leave to sit and dry naturally.

earplug cleaning Insert the filter into the opening at the end of the earplug (nearest the tongue). If you insert the filter at a slight angle, pushing the lower side of the filter in first, you can then press the filter down into the correct position.
earplug cleaning The silicone is very flexible so can be pulled around the filter to ensure it fully sits within the cavity of the earplug if necessary, but be careful not to rip or damage the earplug when pulling the silicone. The filter needs to be fitted and positioned correctly into the earplug to achieve the certified attenuation.
